The state of Georgia continues to enhance our outdoor experience! Today GA DNR made a special announcement two days before the opening of Spring Turkey Season 2013. According to www.georgiawildlife.com and the GA DNR Facebook page, our sign in procedures just got easier. You can now sign in via the website before you go hunt. The website will work on most smart phones as well.
This feature is not valid for quota hunts or areas requiring check in.
In the past we would have to get up extra early to sign in at the WMAs that we were hunting. Even worse if you hunt multiple WMAs throughout the season. This web-based access will make our hunting experience even better. No more driving across a WMA to sign in on opening morning. No more rushing to get from the sign in board to “the spot” before someone else. Just go on-line and sign in before you go hunt. Of course, the paper sign in will still be available at all of the original locations, but you will only need to utilize one form or another.
